Terms of Service

Welcome to CarryOver. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CarryOver website and services (the "Service"), operated by RitzyLabs LLC ("CarryOver," "we," "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. What CarryOver does

CarryOver helps students understand how their college credits may transfer between institutions and how those credits may apply toward degree requirements. We provide informational guidance based on publicly available and licensed academic data.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the transcripts and information you upload ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to provide the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the right to upload any content you submit.

4. Acceptable use

• Don't use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Don't upload another person's records without authorization.
• Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Don't resell or redistribute the Service or its data without our written permission.

5. Plans, payments, and renewals

The free tier is provided at no cost. The Transfer Plan is a one-time purchase that provides access to paid features for a 12-month period from purchase. Plan+ is a recurring monthly subscription that renews automatically until cancelled; paid features remain available while the subscription is active. When paid access ends, your uploaded data and previously downloaded exports remain available to you; paid features re-lock. Prices are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding Your Content), is owned by RitzyLabs LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that results will be error-free or that the Service will be uninterrupted.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RitzyLabs LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service and its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State in which RitzyLabs LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located there, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
