How CarryOver checks transfer courses

CarryOver is an independent transfer-preparation tool operated by RitzyLabs LLC. It compares your entered courses with published lists and organizes the differences into questions for advising. Your colleges make the official admission and credit decisions.

Who is the current product for?

Students with verified common course numbers from Texas public colleges who are comparing business or general psychology preparation at the University of Houston, Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas Tech University, Texas State University or the University of North Texas. You can also start with no courses and compare the published lists.

The Texas report does not evaluate private-college, out-of-state, AP/IB or other exam credit. It does not certify admission, transferred credit, catalog rights, prerequisites or a completed degree. Other coverage in the app has separate limits and is not part of this paid promise.

Which sources does CarryOver use?

How does the comparison work?

1. Establish the course system. You confirm that the codes are verified Texas public-college common course numbers. Changing to an unsupported origin clears prior entries and withholds the Texas comparison.
2. Compare exact codes against the published lists. Similar course names do not establish equivalence. The ten destination/field lists were independently checked against the source publications.
3. Keep uncertainty visible. Recorded A/B/C entries with the listed semester credits are separate from in-progress work, repeats, C-minus, pass/credit grades, missing information and quarter units. A recorded grade does not establish acceptance or an admission minimum.
4. Keep admission separate. Selected admission notes identify questions that can change a course choice; the tool does not issue an eligibility verdict.
5. Preserve saved reports. A saved report keeps its original entries, comparison and source version. It is not silently recalculated when the references change.

Reference version: tx-fos-2026-09-16. Before release, 63 benchmark cases checked the ten inventories and grade, unit and course-identity edge cases. This is an engineering check of the comparison, not a claim that a college has approved the output.

What is free, and what costs $39?

The course-list comparison, original source links and basic printable worksheet are free. No account or transcript upload is needed. Email sign-in lets you save your course entries.

A one-time $39 purchase provides 365 days of saved preparation reports and native PDF downloads for both fields and all five destinations, up to 100 saved reports. There is no automatic renewal. Saved inputs remain readable after paid access ends; downloaded PDFs remain yours. The fee pays for CarryOver’s organization and report tools, not access to the public source publications. How are updates and corrections handled?

New comparisons use the reviewed reference available at that time. Source review is due before December 15, 2026; new purchases pause automatically if that review becomes overdue. Historical saved reports retain their original version. This is a scheduled review policy, not continuous monitoring of university requirements.

Report an error to support@getcarryover.com with the page, course code, destination and official source link. Do not include student IDs, transcript images or sign-in links. We aim to respond within 1–2 business days. The refund policy covers material report errors we cannot promptly correct.

Is CarryOver affiliated with a college?

No. CarryOver is operated by RitzyLabs LLC and claims no university or state endorsement. Confirm catalog rights, accepted grades, program requirements, local prerequisites and registration choices with the colleges before acting on a comparison.
